Generation 2
Gold, Silver, and Crystal
The Gold, Silver, and Crystal games are unique, as they all have their own set of unique sprites. To keep all sprites easily comparable, they are all featured on the Gen 2 ShinyDex. Sprites are shown in the order of Gold, Silver, and then Crystal. Since Gold and Silver have identical back sprites, they are only listed in the rows for the Gold sprites. Crystal provided many updates to sprites from colors to design. Many back sprites have subtle changes to colors that may not be easily distinguished, so they are included in the ShinyDex.
Locations and game notes may differ between Gold, Silver, and Crystal. Generally speaking, if locations and notes are in the Gold rows but left blank for Silver and Crystal, then the information is the same across all three games.
Unown sprites can be found in the Unown Dex.
